On Thursday, President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov issued a decree granting pardons to 321 convicted individuals in celebration of the upcoming Holy Night of Gadyr Gijesi, according to official reports from Turkmenistan.
The President directed Begench Gundogdyyev, Chairman of the Pardon Commission, to collaborate with law enforcement agencies to facilitate the release of those pardoned and ensure their prompt reunion with their families.
President Berdimuhamedov expressed his hopes for the pardoned citizens to succeed in their future endeavors, remain loyal to the nation, and reap the rewards of their hard work.
