Turkmenistan students represented their country with distinction at the international intellectual competition “XPERTSTEM Elite Final Competition”, held in the United Kingdom from August 1 to 7. The competition brought together talented young participants from different countries and focused on assessing students’ knowledge and practical skills in STEM — science, technology, engineering and mathematics.
At the end of the competition, the Turkmen representatives won 1 gold and 3 bronze medals.
In the “Programming” category, Akgozel Perhatova, a student of the Turkmen-Turkish Secondary School in Ashgabat, won the gold medal. The judges particularly highlighted her analytical abilities and her ability to find unconventional solutions to complex problems.
In the “English Language” category, three bronze medals were won by Aynur Yagmyrova, a student of Specialized Secondary School No. 16 with advanced foreign-language studies in Mary, Mariya Ruslanova, a student of Secondary School No. 15 in Ashgabat, and Jennet Halbayeva, a student of Specialized Secondary School No. 2 in Türkmenabat.
Participation in the competition gave the Turkmen students an opportunity to test their knowledge at the international level, exchange experience with peers from different countries and demonstrate their abilities in a competitive educational environment. Competitions of this kind contribute to the development of creativity, logical thinking and practical skills in modern technologies and STEM-related fields.
The successful performance of the Turkmen schoolchildren at the “XPERTSTEM Elite Final Competition” is another indication of the opportunities being created for young people to receive modern education, as well as their readiness to represent Turkmenistan with distinction at international intellectual competitions.
