Turkmenistan is taking part in the International Horticultural Expo in Doha, Qatar. The country has set up its own pavilion to showcase its products. The expo started on October 3 and is organized by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Turkmenistan.
The start of the Doha EXPO-2022 had an event to celebrate it. The event had important people like the Emir of Qatar, the President of the United Arab Emirates, the President of Uzbekistan, the President of Djibouti, the President of Tanzania, the Prime Minister of Iraq, the Prime Minister of Yemen, the Prime Minister of Rwanda, and other important guests. The event had the theme of “Green Desert, Better Environment. “
In his speech at the opening ceremony, Qatari Prime Minister Mohammad bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani said that the exhibition is a chance for sustainable growth and working together with other countries.
In September, the President of Turkmenistan, Serdar Berdimuhamedov, gave permission for the Chamber of Commerce and Industry to make an agreement with Sowda oyi company to create and construct the National Pavilion of Turkmenistan for an international exhibition.
