The U.S.-Turkmenistan Business Forum began its work on Monday at the prestigious Ýyldyz Hotel in Ashgabat.
Deputy Prime Minister for World Trade and Textile Industry Batyr Atdaev, President of the State Enterprise Türkmengaz (Turkmen Gas), Maksat Babaev, Chairman of the Board of the State Bank for Foreign Economic Affairs of Turkmenistan, as well as Rahymberdy Jepbarov as representatives of other institutions of Turkmenistan took part in the United States-Turkmenistan Economic Forum.
Eric Stewart, executive director of the U.S.-Turkmenistan Business Council, led Delegation in the forum. The delegation included representatives from leading companies such as Climate Compass, Case New Holland, Honeywell, John Deere, Palo Alto Networks, CNH Industrial and Visa.
The forum on Turkmen-American affairs was attended by Deputy Prime Minister Batyr Atdayev, President of the state corporation Türkmengaz (Turkmen Gas) Maksat Babayev, Executive Director of the U.S.-Turkmen Business Council Eric Stewart and representatives of other companies.
Speakers at the Forum highlighted the huge potential for collaboration across various sectors. In particular, they identified the fuel and energy complex, transport and communications, construction, innovative technologies and ecology as sectors with significant opportunities for cooperation.Forum participants also recognized the importance of leveraging these sectors to promote economic growth, infrastructure development, technological advancement and environmental sustainability. The U.S.-Turkmenistan Business Forum lasts until December 7, 2023.
