Recently, a nationwide greening campaign was held in Turkmenistan with the participation of President Serdar Berdimuhamedov. High-ranking officials, representatives of ministries, foreign organizations, and the public joined the event.
Turkmenistan prioritizes environmental protection by expanding forest zones and preserving biodiversity. Under the leadership of the President, the country continues implementing initiatives by the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Hero-Arkadag, to ensure ecological well-being.
The state promotes public involvement in environmental efforts, fostering a culture of sustainability. Environmental protection remains a key aspect of national policy, closely linked to economic and social reforms. Programs like Revival of the New Epoch of the Powerful State (2022-2052) and the President’s Socio-Economic Development Program (2022-2028) guide efforts to create a clean and sustainable environment.
