Digital technologies are increasingly becoming a key driver of economic development. In September this year, Ashgabat is set to host a scientific and practical conference titled “Innovations and Digital Technologies as Driving Forces of Economic Development”, aimed at sharing expertise and discussing new solutions in the field. The announcement was made during a regular meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers held by the President of Turkmenistan in a digital format.
The forum will focus on the role of innovation in the development of the national economy, future directions of the digital economy, and opportunities to apply advanced technologies across different sectors.
Key topics will include electronic government, artificial intelligence, financial technologies and digital services. The conference will also address the modernization of production processes, improving the efficiency of work processes, and expanding the impact of digital solutions on economic activity.
Digital transformation is not limited to technology itself. It is also increasing demand for new professions and modern skills. In this context, the training of highly qualified specialists, the development of digital skills among young people, and the study of international experience will be among the important areas of the conference.
The growing role of digital services in everyday life and the economy is increasing the importance of events that provide opportunities for professional exchange. The conference is expected to serve as a platform for discussing new ideas, sharing best practices and exploring the potential of innovative solutions.
Such forums can contribute to developing new approaches in rapidly changing areas such as the digital economy, artificial intelligence and innovation, while also identifying ways to apply modern technologies more effectively across various sectors, from manufacturing to services.
