International Conference «Interconnection of Times and Civilizations – the Basis of Peace and Development»

Today, the International Conference “Interconnection of Times and Civilizations – the Basis of Peace and Development” has commenced in the capital under the leadership of Turkmenistan’s President, Serdar Berdimuhamedov. About this report Turkmenistan: Golden Age.

The high-level forum is being held at the large conference hall of the country’s Chamber of Commerce and Industry. The conference has been attended by the President of the Republic of Armenia, Vahagn Khachaturyan, the President of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Masoud Pezeshkian, the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, the President of the Kyrgyz Republic, Sadyr Japarov, the President of Mongolia, Ukhnaagiin Khurelsukh, the President of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, Asif Ali Zardari, the President of the Russian Federation, Vladimir Putin, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Emomali Rahmon, and the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev. Additionally, the Chairman of the Grand National Assembly of the Republic of Turkey, the Head of the Republic of Tatarstan of the Russian Federation, the Chairman of the UNESCO General Conference, heads of international organizations, members of foreign governments, renowned scientists, cultural figures, and diplomats are also in attendance.

This forum is part of the extensive program celebrating the 300th anniversary of the great Turkmen poet and philosopher, Magtymguly Fragi, which includes numerous celebratory events both in Turkmenistan and abroad. The primary objectives of the international conference are to promote the classical heritage of Magtymguly Fragi, explore the connection between the languages and literature of Eastern peoples, examine his role in the development of national statehood, and highlight the poet-humanist’s contribution to the universal spiritual values.
