From April 22 to May 11, 2024, orphans from the Döwletliler Köşgi (Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan Orphanage) in Ashgabat and the orphanage in Balkanabat participated in an ICT (Information and Communication Technologies) training program. The training, which was organized by UNICEF in collaboration with the Ministry of Education of Turkmenistan, provided 32 orphans (boys and girls) with valuable skills that will be beneficial for their future careers.
This initiative highlights the country’s commitment to ensuring that every child, regardless of their circumstances, has access to the skills and knowledge they need to thrive in the digital world. The training program not only equips children with technical knowledge but also helps them develop important social skills such as communication, teamwork, and problem-solving, which are essential for their personal and professional development.
