On Tuesday, the opening ceremony of the Year of Chinese Culture in Turkmenistan took place in Ashgabat.
The celebration took place at the Mukams Palace of the State Cultural Center of Turkmenistan. The action, initiated by the heads of two friendly countries, is designed to Turkmen people with the wide palette of art of the Chinese people, their original customs and traditions, and achievements in the field of culture.
The Chinese delegation, which arrived in Turkmenistan on this occasion, included leaders and employees of specialized structures, masters of musical art, as well as acrobatics.
As the diplomat noted, the leaders of the two countries maintain regular strategic contacts, determine areas of cooperation for the future, which contributes to the intensification of Turkmen-Chinese relations in various fields.
At the end of the ceremonial part, a concert was held, the program of which included dances, songs, an excerpt from the Qin opera, and musical compositions reflecting the ethnic characteristics of the peoples living along the route of the Great Silk Road.
