Because of the long-standing traditions and principles of the Turkmen people, and with the goal of assisting the Afghan people after a recent earthquake, the President of Turkmenistan ordered humanitarian aid to be sent to Afghanistan. This aid is being provided through the Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov Charitable Foundation for Assistance to Children in Need of Guardianship. The Turkmen people believe in being friendly, supportive neighbors and helping those in need.
On October 11th of this year, a shipment of medicines, medical supplies, clothes, and food was sent to our friendly country.
This help for the people affected by the natural disaster on October 7, 2023 in the Afghan province of Herat showed our deep respect for the people and leaders of the friendly country, and it also showed our commitment to helping others.
