As we know, In the Arkadag city has great opportunities to practice football. For these purposes, Arkadag city’s General Directorate for Physical Education and Sports was created, a multipurpose sports complex and a sports center (water sports complex), and a stadium with 10,000 seats were built. All conditions have been created here to practice football, volleyball, basketball, table and tennis, weight and light athletics, gymnastics, fencing, chess, chess and others, including water sports. A fitness center, a trainer, counseling rooms and other rooms are also provided. In addition to a large swimming pool, the sports center also has a children’s water park. At the opening ceremony of Arkadag city, Turkmen sportsmen, including young people who won prizes in international competitions, students of the Turkmen State Institute of Physical Education and Sports, and students of neighboring schools, were given demonstrations on the square in front of the city stadium. They demonstrated their skills in various sports. Students’ dance group “Healthy generation” also prepared their creative gift. On that occasion, swimmers and water polo players showed off their skills at the sports center. Athletes’ performances were also organized in the halls of the multipurpose sports complex. It should be noted that on June 1, the first football match was held in this stadium. “Arkadag” and “Ahal” football teams competed against each other. As a result, “Arkadag” team won 3:0. Thus, representatives of the football community also tested the possibilities of the new stadium. It is planned to host many national and international football matches in this 10,000-seat stadium.
