Turkmenistan’s National Pavilion Showcased at International Expo in Shanghai

The ninth China International Import Expo opened on November 5 in Shanghai, China, featuring Turkmenistan’s national pavilion. The event, which aims to promote international trade cooperation, has brought together representatives from 162 countries, regions and international organisations.

Held at the National Exhibition and Convention Center in Shanghai, the expo covers approximately 440,000 square metres. A total of 4,142 overseas exhibitors are taking part. Turkmenistan is among the 69 countries presenting national pavilions, providing an opportunity to promote its products in international markets.

The Turkmen pavilion showcases a range of domestically produced goods, along with opportunities for trade, economic and investment cooperation. Visitors can also learn more about the rich cultural heritage of the Turkmen people.

A Turkmenistan–China business forum is also scheduled to take place on the sidelines of the expo. The forum is expected to promote direct contacts between business representatives from the two countries and provide an opportunity to explore new prospects for trade and investment cooperation.

The China International Import Expo has been held annually in November since 2018. It provides companies from around the world with a platform to showcase their products internationally and expand business partnerships.
