The third Turkmenistan–UAE Business Forum is planned to be held in October this year in Ashgabat, the capital of Turkmenistan. This issue was discussed during a meeting between the Ambassador of Turkmenistan to the United Arab Emirates, Bayram Bayramov, and the Chairman of the Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Abdulla Sultan Al-Owais, as well as the Secretary-General of the Federation of UAE Chambers of Commerce and Industry, Hamid Mohammed bin Salem, on Wednesday.
According to Al Khaleej newspaper, the parties explored opportunities to expand economic and investment cooperation between the two countries. They also exchanged views on the current investment climate and business potential of Turkmenistan and the UAE.
Abdulla Sultan Al-Owais emphasized the importance of intensifying bilateral relations and promoting exchanges of business delegations. He noted that direct cooperation between business communities contributes to increasing trade turnover and expanding partnership opportunities.
During the meeting, it was also highlighted that the Federation of UAE Chambers of Commerce and Industry is interested in consistently strengthening cooperation with Turkmenistan in the fields of economy, trade, and investment.
It is worth recalling that the second Turkmenistan–UAE Business Forum was held in October 2025 at the Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
