President of Turkmenistan Attends EXPO 2025 Pavilion in Osaka

On April 14, President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov paid a visit to Turkmenistan’s national pavilion at EXPO 2025 in Osaka as part of his official trip to Japan.

During the visit, the President toured the pavilion and signed the Book of Honored Guests with a commemorative note. The event was also attended by Yoshitaka Ito, Japan’s Minister responsible for EXPO 2025.

In his remarks, President Berdimuhamedov highlighted the importance of Turkmenistan’s presence at the international exhibition in fostering cooperation and enhancing the nation’s foreign economic ties.

Visitors to the pavilion experienced a 3D animated presentation that highlighted Turkmenistan’s cultural heritage, scenic nature, and contemporary accomplishments. The second and third levels of the pavilion showcased exhibits from the new city of Arkadag, various government ministries, and traditional national cuisine.

Constructed by the Belli Economic Society, the pavilion features a triangular design representing motion and progress. Its dome incorporates elements of Turkmen decorative art, and the overall architecture reflects the natural forms of the Karakum Desert.

In addition, President Berdimuhamedov participated in a ceremonial event marking Turkmenistan’s National Day, held within the framework of the World Expo.
