Today the award ceremony for the winners of the “Amazing People Prize – Civil Society Leaders and Volunteers Who Inspire Us” was held online.
More than 40 civil initiatives of representatives of public organizations from Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan took part in the competition.
As a result of voting, 9 civil initiatives were awarded. Among the best is the civil initiative “InAshgabat Web Site – Civil Society Platform”.
— Dear organizers, participants of the Innovation Festival and the XI International Conference “Development History: A Look from the Inside”, I sincerely congratulate you on such a significant event and thank you for organizing such a necessary platform as the “Amazing People Prize!” Civil Initiatives Contest. I have been in civil society for 10 years now and this jubilee year I decided to participate in the Competition. I am very pleased that the initiative of the InAshgabat website, a civil society platform, received a record number of votes in the entire history of the participation of Turkmen NGOs in the Competition, starting in 2017!
I would like to express my deep gratitude to all those who voted for our initiative, to all employees of the InAshgabat website, thanks to them our civic initiative was awarded!
