Cybersecurity Boost: University Students and Teachers Sharpen Skills in Advanced Training

With the aim of increasing interest in information technologies and enhancing professional skills in information security, cybersecurity training sessions were held on September 20-21, 2024, at the International Oil and Gas University named after Yagshygeldi Kakayev and at the office of the “Sanly Çözgüt – IT meýdança” company.

Students and teachers from higher educational institutions participated in these sessions, engaging in hands-on exercises such as “Active Attack in the Windows Operating System” and solving tasks in the format of the globally popular cybersecurity competition, CTF (Capture the Flag).

The “Active Attack in the Windows Operating System” test was developed by teachers at the International Oil and Gas University named after Yagshygeldi Kakayev. This test is designed to improve skills in preventing and defending against critical cyber incidents within operating systems.

Students who excelled in the training earned the right to participate in the national “Cyber Competition.”
