Awaza, 5 August — Plenary 2 of Civil Society Forum within framework of LLDC3 focusing on Digital Economy, Innovation, and Sustainable Development has just commenced in Conference Room 2.
The session is moderated by H.E. Mr. Edil Baisalov, Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic. Distinguished speakers include Kenan Aslanli, Advisor at ITcM; Mr. Deodat Maharaj, Managing Director of the UN Technology Bank for Least Developed Countries; Dean Mulozi, Executive Director of the Southern Africa Telecentre Network; Natalia Mochu, Regional Director of the ITU Regional Office for the Commonwealth of Independent States; Chinara Aitbayeva, Director of the Public Foundation Nash Vek, Kyrgyzstan; and Simonetta Siligato, Director of the Austria Multi-Country Office at UNOPS.
The session is set to discuss how innovation and digital connectivity can help overcome challenges faced by LLDCs and drive sustainable development through transformative technologies.
