As part of the year celebrating “The Fount of Wisdom of Magtymguly Fragi,” Turkmen youth continue to demonstrate their high educational standards on the global stage. On September 30, 2024, a group of 10 students from Turkmenistan will represent the nation at the International Olympiad on Financial Security, taking place in Sochi, Russian Federation.
The team includes talented students from various institutions: Kakabay Nurgeldiyev and Nurmuhammet Tajimyradov from Magtymguly State University, Shabibi Beshimova and Kyyas Ilmyradov from the International University for Humanities and Development, Mehri Gubajayeva, Arslan Shaimov, and Jennet Berdiyeva from the Turkmen State Institute of Economics and Management, along with Enejan Garajaeva and Aysenem Nuryev from the Turkmen State Institute of Finance. These students excelled in the national qualifying rounds, securing their place at the prestigious international competition.
The Olympiad aims to introduce participants to international economic practices, enhance cooperation between nations, and improve the financial literacy of younger generations. The competition covers various fields, including economics, finance and credit, economic security, international relations, law, and informatics.
Turkmen students expressed their deep gratitude to the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Hero-Arkadag, and President Hero Arkadagly Serdar for providing the opportunities and resources to compete internationally.
