Recently in the capital, the book presentation of “Ýaşlar – Watanyň daýanjy” by President Serdar Berdimuhamedov, published in Japanese, took place at the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. This meaningful work celebrates the achievements of Turkmen youth who are contributing to the nation’s prosperity.
Initially published in December, the book has gained attention abroad, notably through its Japanese translation, a collaboration with the University of Tsukuba, furthering the friendship between Turkmenistan and Japan. The event was attended by representatives from various ministries, diplomatic corps, and higher education institutions, including Hiroyuki Tsubai from Itochu Corporation, as part of the ongoing Turkmen-Japanese economic cooperation.
Speeches highlighted the strengthening interstate dialogue and cooperation in humanitarian fields. The book offers Japanese readers insights into Turkmenistan’s state policy focused on youth development, underlining the government’s commitment to education, creative expression, and international engagement.
Additionally, the growing educational ties between Turkmen and Japanese institutions were noted, alongside the importance of the book in educating readers about Turkmen traditions of youth development, emphasizing patriotism and moral values. Participants expressed their best wishes to President Berdimuhamedov for this significant contribution to understanding the role of youth in nation-building.
