On April 25-26, 2025, the Turkmen delegation participated in the sixth meeting of Foreign Ministers of the “Central Asia-China” format, held in Almaty. This was reported on the official website of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan.
The meeting discussed the issues of preparation for the second summit of heads of state, which is scheduled to be held in Astana in June this year. The parties noted the importance of strengthening the contractual and legal framework of cooperation and reviewed the documents to be signed at the summit.
The meeting also focused on developing political dialogue, expanding mutually beneficial trade and economic relations, developing cooperation in the transport and communications sectors, and issues related to sustainable development and ecology.
