Ashgabat specialized secondary school no: 86 hosted test games of Ashgabat Robotics Challenge among secondary school students.
The robotics team from School No: 87 won 1st prize in the 1st category (age 14+), while School No: 97 became the winner in 2nd category (under 14).
Pushkin Turkmen-Russian joint secondary school, Ashgabat schools No: 49, 74, 86, 87, 97 and 135 are the participants of the test event.
Yegenmyrat Annageldiyev, head of organizing committee and teacher of Ashgabat specialized secondary school no: 86 told: “We announced the competition on 12th of December. Teams had 2 weeks to prepare. And over 40 robots from 7 schools in Ashgabat responded. And this is still a trial event. We are getting ready for the main event which will be held in April.”
Robotics Club of School No: 86 came up with an idea to transform the experience into a large competition. This club cooperates with the Engineering Technology University of Turkmenistan named after Oghuz Khan.
