Open Mathematical Olympiad for University Students (OMOUS-2023) will be held in Person at International University for the Humanities and Development, Ashgabat, Turkmenistan on April 23-28, 2023.
The competition is intended for university students who are interested in mathematics.
The official language of the Olympiad is Turkmen and English.
This international olympiad will bring together students of higher educational institutions of the country and leading universities of the world.
Purposes of the Olympiad are identifying smart and capable young people , creating conditions for them to choose professions related to their further intellectual development and implementation of mutual communication between higher educational institutions and individual scientific centers.
Around 60 students from the Russian Federation, Uzbekistan, Azerbaijan, the Islamic Republic of Iran, Hungary, Germany, Saudi Arabia and Mexico will participate in International Olympiad that will last five days .
Also, a festival of Turkmen culture and national cousine will be organized within the framework of the International Olympiad. The final results will be officially announced at the closing ceremony of the Olympiad.
