Recently in the conference hall of the State academy of art of Turkmenistan was held the presentation the new edition of the book of Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov “The Horse – a Symbol of Fidelity and Happiness”, which was published in German, Turkish and Arabic languages. At the ceremony teacher Orazgozel Utamysheva, teacher of the department “Art history” Jemal Toriyeva and others spoke about the Akhal-Teke horses. The book of the Turkmen leader aroused great interest among readers of the different countries. This gives them the opportunity to get acquainted with the history and current high level of breeding of Akhal-Teke horses, learn a lot about the stages of development of horse breeding in Turkmenistan.
As noted, the book of President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, permeated with a sense of the inextricable connection of the times and generations of past eras and the present day of our country, play a significant role in popularizing the traditions and cultural heritage of the Turkmen people. The book, published on 2019, provides an opportunity for a retrospective excursion into history, makes it possible to understand the origins of the reverent attitude of Turkmens to the famous Akhal-Teke horses, and to trace the aesthetic evolution of their images in the mental environment.
