On January 5, 2024, the Embassy of Turkmenistan in the Republic of Turkey, along with Ankara University and the Union of Engineers and Architects of the Turkic World, organized a global conference to honor 2024 as “The Fount of wisdom of Magtymguly Fragi” in Turkmenistan. The event was attended by representatives of the diplomatic corps accredited in Türkiye, heads of socio-political organizations, representatives of the creative and scientific intelligentsia, as well as the media.
The people at the meeting really liked the work of the great thinker. They were happy that 2024 will be the “Year of the great poet and thinker of the Turkic world Magtymguly Fragi” and that UNESCO will celebrate the 300th anniversary of his birth in 2024–2025. This shows that people all over the world recognize and appreciate his work.
