Oguzhan university becomes the member of CDIO, first from Central Asia

During the Revival of a new epoch of a powerful state under the prudent and far-sighted leadership of the Highly Esteemed President all opportunities have been created to strengthen and develop the material and technical base of the education and science system in the country, to accelerate the training of higher personnel in these areas, to create basic education and science systems that meet modern world standards, to enhance the role of education and science in our society.

The Oguz Han Engineering and Technology university of Turkmenistan, which is one of the leading higher educational institutions of the country, trains young people in nano, bio information and innovative technologies, which are priority areas in the world in terms of engineering and technology, and also performs research and design work in these areas. A number of specific measures are being implemented to create and implement digital and smart technologies, create a digital education system, and develop distance learning technologies, creation of research and production centers and establishment of cooperation with leading universities abroad.

According to the results of the research conducted today, teachers and students of the Oguz Han Engineering and Technology university of Turkmenistan has received more than 20 patents. Recently, our university joined the global concept of standardization of engineering education CDIO (Conceive Design Implement Operate), which unites about 200 universities from 40 countries of the world, that was adopted by one of the first in Central Asia (Oguz han Engineering and Technology University of Turkmenistan | Worldwide CDIO Initiative).

The main purpose of this international concept is to generalize the requirements for education, scientific level, practical skills, thinking abilities, responsibility and business qualities of engineers and technologists around the world and to develop a world standard for their education. Joining the global concept opens up wide opportunities for the diversification of academic and scientific-industrial work at the university and bringing it into line with international standards, as well as international recognition of diplomas of graduates of the university.
