With the highest development of digital technologies, young are becoming more and more interested in participating in intellectual competitions of various levels. This year, the world’s leading educational centers held set of international online competitions. Also, the Turkmen youth who took part in these competitions are achieving great success.
In April, the country’s schoolchildren took part in the I-EMC 2022 Virtual Mathematics Olympiad in Indonesia. According to the rules, the game was held in four age categories. Among them, in the category “Salamander”, students of the 1st secondary school specialized in foreign languages of the city of Dashoguz, Amanova Gulnazik and Akhmedov Emir Khan won gold medals. In the “Chameleon” category, student of the 24th secondary school specialized in foreign languages of the city of Dashoguz, Matniyazov Sultanbay won a gold medal and a student of the Ashgabat International School Atharv Tripaty and students of the 24th secondary school specialized in foreign languages of the city of Dashoguz, Ashirov Nurmurat, Khanbaev Aydogdy won silver medals. In the Iguana category, a student of the 26th secondary school specialized in teaching English, chemistry and biology of the city of Dashoguz, Niyazmedova Bakhar won a bronze medal, as well as students of the 66th secondary school of the city of Ashgabat Eziz Bezhev and Muhammetniyaz Kasymov received honorable mentions. In the “Dragon” category, a student of the 21st secondary school specialized for young physicians and mathematicians of the city of Dashoguz, Mergen Gaipov and student of the 26th secondary school specialized in teaching English, chemistry and biology of the city Dashoguz, Shamedov Rovshen received bronze medals. Participants noted that the competition was difficult, but interesting.
