Recently, the International Festival “East-West: Musical Traditions and Eurasian Folk Art in the Cultural Space of the CIS” was held in Dushanbe. An exhibition corner was organized by the Embassy of Turkmenistan in the Republic of Tajikistan.
The participants of the exhibition got acquainted with the cultural values of the Turkmen people, national carpets and paintings, as well as the works of the Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov and information about the modern achievements of Turkmenistan during the years of independence.
The event, organized by the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Tajikistan, was attended by heads of diplomatic missions accredited in the country, representatives of media, scientific intelligence and public organizations, as well as creative groups from Tajikistan and abroad.
According to the results of the international festival, the diplomatic mission of Turkmenistan was awarded the diploma of the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Tajikistan.
