At the invitation of President of the People’s Republic of China Xi Jinping, President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov will visit Beijing. According to the Chinese Foreign Ministry, the Turkmen Leader will state visit to Beijing on January 5-6. As noted, this visit is the first state visit of the President of Turkmenistan to China. During the visit, it is expected to hold high-level meetings and sign relevant documents following their results.
It should be noted that the People’s Republic of China was the first country to establish diplomatic relations with Turkmenistan, and this year marks the 31st anniversary of bilateral relations.
