Turkmenistan is preparing to cooperate with The Walt Disney Company

Recently, a representative of “The Walt Disney Company” – Chief Media Director for Central and Eastern Europe, CIS Kahaber Abashidze discussed the future of cooperation with the State Committee for Television, Radio and Cinematography representatives of Turkmenistan and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, ORIENT News informs about it. Negotiations were held on the initiative of the Turkmen side through a digital network. Abashidze, a representative of The Walt Disney Company, is one of the largest media companies in producing various forms of entertainment content for the public, with operational capabilities, production stages, and leading brands – Disney, Pixar, Marvel, and 20th-Century Studios introduced during the introductory meeting.

 The negotiators paid special attention to cooperation in the direction of “The National Geographic” TV channel, a subsidiary of this media holding. In particular, the possibility of using the NatGeo media site to release content on specific topics about Turkmenistan was considered. The future of joint shooting of videos about Turkmen nature was also discussed.
