Turkmenistan suggested having a meeting for transportation experts next year in the second quarter, following the Joint Declaration from the European Union-Central Asia Foreign Ministers’ Meeting in Luxembourg on October 23, 2023.
At the meeting, they suggested having a meeting with EU organizations in early 2024 to talk about working together on energy and sharing ideas.
During the meeting, the Foreign Minister suggested sending a group to Brussels (Belgium) to take part in the 15th meeting about human rights between Turkmenistan and the European Union and the 22nd meeting between Turkmenistan and the EU. These events will happen on December 18th and 19th this year.
President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov emphasised the importance of intensifying cooperation with the European Union and instructed the Minister of Foreign Affairs to continue conducting work based on the parties’ common interests.
