“Every country should decide its own destiny of development without interference of other countries,” said Xi Jinping, general secretary of the CPC Central Committee and Chinese president, in a keynote speech at the CPC and World Political Parties Summit bridged online from Beijing.
Summit dedicated to the 100th Anniversary was participated by representatives of over 500 political parties of the world from nearly 160 countries.
Leaders of countries, political parties and international organizations from Latin America, Europe, Middle East, Asia have delivered their speeches in the event. Special higlights were from African leaders, where they drew attention on key role of China in the continent with its investments.
Dmitriy Medvedev, Chairman of “United Russia” party from Russian Federation and Nursultan Nazarbayev, Chairman of “Nur Otan” party from Kazakhstan were also among key speekers.
Common topics discussed was combating COVID-19, implementing “One Belt, One Road” project, international cooperation for the benefit of the entire mankind.
Higlights from lives of farmers, medicals, lawyers and many other were shown on the intro video before the summit set off. The motto of the event was “Everything is in our hands”, symbolized by the representatives of the professions showing their hand palms to the viewers.
Representatives of political parties of Turkmenistan have also took part in the event. Video link was set at the Headquarters of the Social Organization of Turkmenistan located in Ashgabat.
Ata Serdarov, Head of Democratic Party of Turkmenistan, Saparmyrat Ovganov, Head of Industrialists and Enterpreuners of Turkmenistan, Bashim Annagurbanov, Head of Agrarian Party of Turkmenistan along with representatives from some other political organizations have watched the summit from the local venue.
