THE MASTER OF LITERATURE AND DIPLOMACY

We have got to understand that what we do in the world is not only good for the world, but also its also good for ourselves. Its not a form of philanthropy, its a form of national security one could say. The main functions of diplomats are: representation and protection of the interests of the nationals of the Sending state, initiation and facilitation of cooperation between the Sending and Receiving states promotion of information, and friendly relations and others.

Celebration of International Day of Diplomats initiated in Brasilia on October 24, 2017 by Indian poet-diplomat Abhay K. and since then diplomats of several countries participate in these celebrations. The idea has  met wide support from the international community.

Gylych Kulyyev from Turkmenistan is certainly one of the most influential diplomats. He was born on April 14, 1913 in Mary region. He studied at the Seitnazar Seydi Turkmen State Pedagogical Intitute. He’s the winner of the State Prize named “People’s writer of Turkmenistan’’,

Kulyyev worked in the diplomatic missions of the former USSR abroad for many years. He was a counselor at the Embassy of the USSR to Afghanistan. Kulyyev was the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary ambassador of the USSR to Tunis. He is also known as a talented writer, meaning that he inspires not only diplomats but also young writes. We even learn his professional life not only as a diplomat but also as a writer in the school. A diplomat is a person who helps people to having different points of view to find common ground. In the government, a diplomat is an official who represents his or her country in other nations.

On March 20, 2008, The President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov issued a Decree on the establishment of the  Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, entrusting the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan with tasks concerning training of highly qualified specialists in such important spheres, as international relations, international law, international economic relations, international journalism, and furthermore to renders its assistance and promote successful implementation of foreign-policy strategy of our country. The Institute also aims to establish a single system of professional training and retraining of specialists for diplomatic service of Turkmenistan; to provide Turkmen state authorities having foreign partnership in various fields with highly qualified specialists; to carry out scientific and research activity on fundamental issues of international relations and development of modern world. The fact that there were such gifted diplomats as a Gylych Kulyyev in the history of Turkmen diplomacy inspires us, youth to follow his professional steps. It opens an extra inch of daylight in our hearts to be the future representatives – faces of our Motherland.

At the end of this article I would like to wish the life of our esteemed President, who has enhanced the prestige of our country, done a great job for the health of society, peace, friendship and mutual  trust throughout the world, be long and prosperous!
