The annual meeting of the Austrian-Turkmen Society was held in Ashgabat

The annual meeting of the board and members of the Austrian-Turkmen Society was recently held in Ashgabat, marking the first time in the organization’s 16-year history. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan reported that during the meeting, discussions centered around ways to strengthen mutually beneficial cooperation between the two countries.

Neda Berger, who informed the participants about the work carried out by the Society to strengthen ties between Austria and Turkmenistan, expressed hope for further growth of interest on the part of Turkmen companies in interaction with the Austrian-Turkmen Society. Joining the Society provides an opportunity to establish business contacts, exchange experiences, and find new partners for joint projects.

In this regard, an initiative was put forward to sign a Memorandum of Cooperation between Turkmen and Austrian companies. Neda Berger also presented a collection of her poems in four languages. The book opens with an article by the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, in which he highly appreciates the 16-year activity of the Society and the contribution of Neda Berger to the development of Turkmen-Austrian relations.
