On January 15, 2024, the Ambassador from Turkmenistan to Italy, Toyli Komekov, had a meeting with the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of Italy, Edmondo Chirielli, at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Italian Republic.
In the meeting, they talked about how important it was for the President of Turkmenistan to visit Italy in November 2019 and how it would make the relationship between the two countries stronger. The countries talked about working together on the things their leaders agreed on.
During the meeting, we talked about doing more things together with other countries in organizations and making our relationship stronger in areas like science, culture, trade, and the economy. This could include having events with important government officials, doing more cultural events, making sure our laws work well together, and talking more with other countries about politics.
