On December 11, 2023, there was a conference called “Dialogue – a guarantee of peace” at the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan. It was to celebrate International Day of Neutrality and the 28th anniversary of Turkmenistan’s permanent neutrality.
The meeting was attended by important people from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Turkmenistan’s embassies in other countries, diplomats from other countries, members of international organizations, and members of public organizations and the media.
The important meeting with many important people showed that more and more people are interested in Turkmenistan’s fair policies at home and abroad. The international community recognizes how Turkmenistan’s neutral status helps make the world safer and more stable.
It is known that the global initiative “Dialogue – a guarantee of peace” was proposed by the National Leader of the Turkmen People in 2021 at the Peace and Trust Forum in Ashgabat. The United Nations General Assembly all agreed to support a resolution called “International year for dialogue as a guarantee of peace, 2023” on December 6th last year.
The final document was agreed upon at the end of the forum and themed sessions.
