Since ancient times, the Turkmen people have been known as a humanitarian nation that supports the weak. This is a characteristic of our people. Such good deeds continue even now. According to “Neutral Turkmenistan” newspaper, more than 180 children have been restored to health with the funds allocated by the Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov Charitable Foundation for surgical treatment of children in need of protection.
Restoring and protecting the health of young generations is one of the main principles of our country. As we know, in March 2021, at the initiative of our National Leader, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, a charity fund for supporting children in need of protection was established.
Since its inception, the fund has implemented several large-scale projects in this field. In June of this year, the Turkmen State Publishing Service published a new book in three languages called “Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov Charitable Fund for Supporting Children in need”. This book provides a comprehensive account of the activities of the fund.
