On June 8-10, 2023, in the Bukhara province of the Republic of Uzbekistan, a dialogue-consultation «Magtymguly’s world fame» was held within the framework of the solemn event dedicated to the 300th anniversary of the birth of Magtymguly Pyragy, the great thinker and classical poet of the East.
The event was attended by Ambassador of Turkmenistan to Uzbekistan Y.Mamedov, the Executive Secretary of the National Commission of Turkmenistan for UNESCO Ch.Rustemova, Hakim of Bukhara region B.Zaripov, heads of the Turkmen Cultural Centre, Turkmen scientists and historians, professors, teachers and turkmen students, as well as representatives of the Turkmen diaspora living in Bukhara region and mass-media.
During the meeting, it was noted that friendly-fraternal and good-neighborly relations between the peoples of the two countries have reached a qualitatively new level in recent years. At the same time, they spoke in detail about the ongoing work on the in-depth study of Magtymguly Pyragy’s creativity and the results of scientific research in this field.
