In current time our permanent neutral Turkmenistan is developing relations with international organizations. This cooperation is mainly actively carried out in the trade-economic, scientific-educational, cultural-humanitarian spheres. One of these organizations is UNESCO, a special UN organization for education, science and culture, which actively cooperates in the cultural and humanitarian sphere of the Motherland.
On May 10-24, 2023 year, at the 216th session of the UNESCO Executive committee at the headquarters of the organization in Paris, the collection of manuscripts of the master of the poet of the Turkmen people Magtymguly Pyragy was included in the list of “True Worlds” of the UNESCO organization. Introducing the celebration of the 300th anniversary of the birth of the great poet Magtymguly in the list of 46 significant dates for 2024-2025, at the initiative of the country of Turkmenistan and with the unanimous support of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the Republic of Belarus, the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Republic of Uzbekistan and a number of other countries, the country’s cooperation with this international organization indicates that it has reached a high level.
