In January-April 2023, mutual trade between Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan amounted to 312.6 million US dollars. As we reported earlier, in January-March this figure was $263.8 million. It can be seen that the trade turnover between the two countries in April amounted to $48.8 million. In the first four months of this year, Turkmenistan exported goods worth 258.5 million US dollars. In the corresponding period, the total value of goods imported by Turkmenistan from Uzbekistan amounted to 54.1 million US dollars. In January-April 2023, Uzbekistan’s foreign trade turnover increased by $2.3 billion, or 13.4 percent, to $19.6 billion.
