Currently, the open championship of Ashgabat city between junior tennis players aged 12 and under continues in the country. The competition was jointly organized by the General Directorate of Physical Education and Sports of Ashgabat and the Tennis Federation of Turkmenistan. This is reported in “Ashgabat” newspaper.
About 100 junior sportsmen from different parts of the country are participating in the open championship of Ashgabat city.
As reported in the newspaper, six of the youth sportsmen of the country took part in the table tennis competition held recently in the city of Kazan of the Republic of Tatarstan, which helps to gain experience in competitions held at the international level.
