On March 30, the opening ceremony of the Culture Days of Turkmenistan took place in Seoul, the capital of the Republic of Korea. Within the framework of Culture Days, a joint concert of Turkmen and Korean artists was held at Hankuk University of Foreign Studies. Representatives of the friendly country, students of Hankuk university, as well as Turkmen students studying at other higher educational institutions of Korea attended the concert.
Also, an international meeting dedicated to the 300th anniversary of the birth of Magtymguly Pyragy, the great thinker and classical poet of the East, was held in the building of the Korea Chamber of Commerce and Industry. The meeting aroused great interest among the representatives of the friendly country, including representatives of the Korean mass media and the scientific community.
It is also planned to hold bilateral business meetings within the framework of Culture Days, which will open a new page in the history of Turkmen-Korean friendly relations.
After the concert of the artists, the Turkmen film “At-myrat” filmed by the Oguz Khan “Turkmenfilm” association was shown in Korean language at the university. Through the film, the Korean audience got acquainted with the national horse breeding, the art and the principles of of horse-breeding.
