Beekeeping businesses are on the rise in Turkmenistan

Honey, which is rich in nutrients, is in great demand all over the world, and beekeeping is considered one of the most attractive and profitable sectors. Based on this, representatives of the private sector are working effectively in this field.

Businessman Islam Yakubov, a member of the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs, also produces beekeeping products under the brand name “Genç” in his enterprise located in Shabat Etrap, Dashoguz Velayat. Telekechi has been keeping bee colonies for 30 years now. By using the most advanced methods in private enterprise, the most productive species of bees are adapted to our natural conditions. At present, 10 types of bee honey are produced at the enterprise.

One more representative of the private sector engaged in beekeeping is businessman Ovezmyrat Penjiev, a member of the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs. At his private production company in Lebap Velayat, a large amount of bee honey is produced and sold to consumers under the brands “Enemeli”, and “Koytendagly”.
