KESHDE – the Turkmen art of embroidery is included to the Intangible Heritage list of UNESCO

During the 17th session of the Intergovernmental Committee of the organization in the capital of the Kingdom of Morocco the was accepted resolution about including Keshde – Turkmen embroidery art in the list of UNESCO Humanity’s Intangible Heritage.

Turkmen art of embroidery Keshde takes its route in early times. The art of embroidery is the best folk craft in Turkmenistan. This famous art is one of our national values and was made by our Turkmen women. This tradition is passed down from generation to generation.
