As you know, every year in September, the action “Ýol hereketiniň kadalary – ömrümiziň rahatlygy” (“Road safety – the safety of our life”) is held in Turkmenistan. The action, initiated by the Government is dedicated to reminding citizens about the importance of observing traffic rules. In addition, the action helps to reduce the number of accidents. These steps are a guarantee of the health and well-being of our people.
An important part of this activity is to achieve full compliance with the rules of safety on the streets and roads. As a result of improving the living conditions of people in the country, the number of vehicles is also increasing. This requires strict adherence to traffic rules. Accordingly, serious work is being done in this direction in all regions of the country. These days, various events, consultations, and competitions are being held in general education schools and pre-school institutions in different parts of our country. It also organizes program events aimed at popularizing the culture of behavior on the road and clarifying the personal responsibility of road users.
In cooperation with the Medical Information Center of the Ministry of Health and Medical Industry of Turkmenistan, large-scale events in various institutions and enterprises of the country, in educational institutions with coverage in the media are being held with the participation of employees of the Ministry of Education of Turkmenistan, state and public organizations, law enforcement agencies, the traffic control service of the police of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Turkmenistan. This testifies to the success of the implementing policy of Turkmenistan to ensure road safety, bringing the creation of safe conditions on the roads to a qualitatively new level.
