Your move, Magnus

The next successes of 17-year-old chess player Allayar Shirliev, a student of the honored coach of Turkmenistan Shohrat Muratkuliev, were crowned with victories in blitz over famous grandmasters: the American national team Andrev Tang (06/12/2021) and a member of the Iranian national team Asghar Golizade (03/19/2021). As you know, Allayar has become more popular due to the recent blindfold games on several boards. Starting from 3 boards, he increased the number of his victories by playing on 31 boards with the chess players of the Ashgabat club of the Bagtyyarlyk sports complex (05/29/2021).

By playing without looking at 31 boards, he reached the highest score, becoming the second in the world in the blindfold ranking of those living now after Grandmaster Timur Gareev and became the first in the world in the ranking among chess players under 18 years of age. This year, on October 31, Allayar Shirliev will turn 18 years old. From the age of 8, Allayar began to practice the game without looking at the board, and from those childhood years his chess idol was the world champion Magnus Carlsen, the best chess player in the world of all time. Studying the games of Magnus, Allayar became a strong chess player.

Allayar came up with a proposal to write a new page in the history of world chess, namely to play an unprecedented blindfold match with Magnus Carlsen on 30 boards, this hitherto unknown match can take place at any time convenient for Magnus and serve as a broad propaganda for the development of chess throughout the world!
