Turkmen students have won 2 bronze medals at “Talent Lab”

Turkmen teenagers have won 2 bronze medals and 1 honorable mention at “Talent Lab” international science competition among school students under 16 in Baku, Azerbaijan.

Gozel Dovranova (9th grader of Boarding school for gifted children) and Davut Muhammetkuliyev (9th grader of Ashgabat specialized secondary school no: 86) have won the bronze medal. While Orazmurat Sahetmuradov (9th grader of Boarding school for gifted children) was awarded Honorable Mention.

Participants have shown their skills in natural sciences. The main task was to solve the 4 problems in mathematics, 3 problems in physics and 3 problems in chemistry within 4 hours. The objective is to test the students’ talent in 3 disciplines of natural sciences overall.

The event was organized by the Ministry of Youth and Sports and Ministry of Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan. 84 teenage students from 10 countries have participated in the olympiad.

The previous event was organized in 2017. Then the Turkmen team had won 1 silver and 2 bronze medals.
