“Watan” state news program reported that UNESCO have accepted the resolution on inclusion of Turkmen Carpet in the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity.
Resolution about enlisting Turkmen traditional carpet art in the list UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity was accepted in 14th session of Interstate Commitee on Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity of UNESCO in Bogota, Columbia.
Previously “Görogly” epos in 2015 and “Kushdepdi” traditional musical art in 2018 was accepted in the UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity.
