Today Turkmenistan is celebration 24th anniversary of Neutrality status gained by approval of almost all UN member countries.
The main objectives of gaining Neutrality Status is to ensure peace and gain sustainable economic growth in the region and the world.
On December 12, 1995 at 50th jubilee session of UN General Assembly, Neutrality Status of Turkmenistan was recognized UN member countries.
On February 2, 2015 at 71th session UN General Assembly, resolution about “December 12 – International Day of Neutrality” was accepted.
