Turkmenistan’s journalists are taking part in a competition called “Caspian without Borders 2024”

The XI edition of the “Caspian without Borders” competition, which recognizes the best journalistic work, has begun in Astrakhan. This was reported by the official media of Turkmenistan.

Journalists from Turkmenistan and other countries of the Caspian Five are participating in the competition. This year, the competition has various categories, including “PhotoCaspian,” “Men and the Sea,” “Discovering the Countries of the Caspian Sea,” “The Caspian Sea is a Territory of Health,” and “Fresh Look.”

Competitors from the Russian Federation, the Republic of Azerbaijan, the Islamic Republic of Iran, the Republic of Kazakhstan, and Turkmenistan are invited to participate. Interested participants must submit their applications electronically to the email address kaspcontest@astrobl.ru by July 1, 2024.

Entries published in print media, online publications, television, and radio broadcasts between June 12, 2023, and June 9, 2024, are accepted. The competition is organized by the administration of the regional governor and the regional government department. Over the past ten years, more than 500 media outlets and authors have participated in the competition, and the number of participants is increasing every year. The results of the competition and the award ceremony for the winners and prize-winners will be announced during the next Caspian Media Forum.
