On December 7, 2023, in Ankara at the Konak Halı Saha sports complex, the Turkmenistan Embassy in Turkey organized a friendly small football tournament to celebrate the International Day of Neutrality.
Turkmen and foreign students in Türkiye, Turkmen people living abroad, and embassy representatives from Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, and Uzbekistan in Ankara all took part in the competition.
The small football tournament is not just a fun sporting event, but also a symbol of friendship between states and being good neighbors.
The team that won the tournament and the other winners got medals, certificates, and special gifts from the Embassy of Turkmenistan in New York.
